With the last of our Indian summer coming to an end, and winter knits finding their way back in the wardrobe, Fashion Weeks in New York, London,
Milan and Paris will have you counting the days to next spring.
Shades of white, nude and neutrals, along with shots of sherbet colours on lightweight silks and transparency, short hemlines and billowing sail-like details,
make spring's wardrobe as light to the touch as it is to the eye.
Rough hewn edges at Prada and Jil Sander underscore a return to nature or at least the beach. And cuffed shorts are the must have items for next season.
With Paris starting soon, there is still more to see, but so far is looks like designers have moved away from the battle armour aesthetic of last
season in favour of the summer of love.
